Benny the Bull's First Foal Is a Colt | BloodHorse.com

"Benny the Bull", first foal a colt. I had the wonderful experience of exercising him for his final comeback at Four Roses Thoroughbreds. Being married to the farm trainer had it's perks. I have this picture to remind me of how graceful he is, a true gentleman. Benny the Bull's First Foal Is a Colt | BloodHorse.com

"Gourmet Dinner"

Steve Standridge trainer of Gourmet Dinner returns the Trippi colt to Florida and a conventional dirt surface  at Gulfstream Park for the Hoy Bull  Stakes (Grade 3). The California trip in which the colt ran 4th, in the Cashcall Futurity (Grade 1), was a disaster for Gourmet Dinner. I have never witness such a debacle as I had watching the paddock show in California. The race was held up for at least thirty minutes waiting for the eventual winner to have a shoe replaced. Gourmet Dinner also was bumped around in the race. When I spoke with Steve he seemed surprised that the officials allowed the race to be held up that long .Holy Bull Stakes (Grade 3)

Carterista

Carterista Carterista retired from a successful racing career at the age of ten. I was given the opportunity to exercise him towards the end of his racing career, he is so graceful and energetic. When I was informed of his retirement, I just knew he could make a difference in someones life.

Day 2

I am going to need a little time to get used to this blogging thing. As soon as I have it down I will start posting more news. Our horses had a month off from training, but it's back to work on Monday. Calder Race Course is the place to be for me.

Day 2

I already have the story line for book number two. It will be about a Saudi royal who gets killed in a car accident. He,s a prominent Thoroughbred owner with american  diplomatic ties. The horse racing world is oversuspicious about the details of the case.
